Free Hearing Tests

Identifying changes early can help you take action and look after your hearing.
That’s why we offer free hearing tests. During your appointment, our friendly audiologist will assess your hearing and ear health, explain the results clearly, and answer any questions you may have. If appropriate, they can also discuss personalised hearing solutions to help you hear more comfortably and confidently.
Appointments usually take between 30 and 60 minutes, making a hearing test a simple first step towards understanding and managing your hearing health.
Microsuction Wax Removal
Excess earwax is a common cause of temporary hearing difficulties. If sounds seem muffled or your ears feel blocked or full, a build-up of wax could be contributing to the problem.
We offer professional microsuction wax removal, a quick, gentle and water-free procedure designed to safely remove excess earwax. Treatment usually takes just a few minutes, and many people notice an improvement in their hearing immediately afterwards.
Microsuction can also be particularly useful for hearing aid users, as excess earwax can affect the performance and effectiveness of hearing devices.

Your Audiologist
George Forrester
George qualified as an Audiologist in July 2023, from South Devon University. He has worked in a number of High Street practices providing comprehensive hearing care, and he is also qualified in wax removal via micro-suction. George loves being able to help people through multiple aspects of his role - fitting hearing aids to improve their quality of life and also witnessing the immediate difference wax removal procedures can make to a patients’ hearing. George enjoys spending time getting to know his patients, listening to their individual stories and providing them with individual hearing solutions to help them thrive with their hearing.
In his spare time George is a keen cook, taking inspiration from the many countries he has visited. George’s main passion is travelling with his partner. Together, they have set a goal to visit 150 countries!
